Brasserie Loewen Am See

This review is for the brasserie. We were very happy to eat here. I booked a week in advance as we celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately, it has not delivered at any level. The whole ambience felt very inexperienced, everyone accused themselves for their mistakes. The food was from a “good level” in terms of preparation, but it was missing everything impressive. We wouldn't return for dinner, that's safe. We won't come back at all. What really *ruined* the experience (and I mean crushing it on the ground was the service we received from our waitress, and the inability of Maitre D/Manager to communicate with us. It was quite funny, the server that was the problem had to translate for the Maitre...

decent small hotel, very good location, right by the lake... center of the old town.... But to say this is great...well, in my opinion it is a great exaggeration. The rooms are fine....No special,...bathroom small...but big problem....they advertise that they have parking available.... No. The parking lot is more than 5 minutes walk... Public parking garage.

What a great hotel, look like a family business style. Very clean and all services available. Staff and friendly. Want to show the amazing attention to details, espresso machine in each room. Is it raining? There is a screen for you near the desk. The hotel is located in a beautiful small square opposite the lake. I can't miss the next time.

Great location and excellent views should be your room view of the lake. Eating and drinking is fantastic in the hotel's restaurant. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very helpful

Great location with nice views to the lake and the square. Great for some bites and beers on a sunny day!
