We have visited this restaurant to celebrate different festivities. It has probably been our best choice since the chef takes particularly good care of each and single course on those special occasions. Members of the staff are very friendly and do their best to welcome...you. They offer you good suggestions for drinks and wine pairings. During Summer time, rather sit on the patio and ask for their Hugo cocktail. Food is good but definitely not extraordinary. I have to agree with viewers who mention that it is probably one of the best restaurants in Bern (not that the list is very long though... . Dishes are well executed, but somehow you feel they could do better, particularly on their Fren...

The food was very good even though it 'gnüegelet ' as we say in swiss german...meaning after some bites i got enough from it and wanted to have something else...however that can just be me but the service was great! Will come back for the experience...again and to find out new things :

We visited this restaurant for a dinner with 6 people. Service was great, food was just average, we missed the certain extra freshness taste. Taking into account that the prices are clearly above average, we do not recommend to visit this restaurant.

Nice cosy place for special occasions with friendly staff. Meanwhile food is below average for the price and wine is really overpriced.

Cooked with care. Everything is just usually extremely tasty. highly recommended. probably one of the best restaurants in bern.
