Brauerei Gaststatte Am Strand

I happened to find myself in this town called Marktredwitz on business. It is close to the Czech border off Highway 93. If ever you happen to be near there, go visit the town and have dinner at the Am Strand.Almost everything was closed but this place opened at 5pm. We went for a beer and wurst and came back around 6.You walk through a small door that says "Gastzimmer" which I think means sitting room or coffee room.The decor is very local with tables and a few round tables for groups. We were told about a specialty which is called "KronFleish" which is the diaphragm of the cow. In English it is the skirt steak. It was chewy but had great flavour. Came with spaetzle, a classic German noodle....

This restaurant is attached to the Nothhaft brewery down by the river. You can dine either inside or in the patio area which is well protected against rain. Beer and food are both good and staff friendly and efficient.

we were looking for a place to eat lunch and look at some in the opposite a travel advisor. it had some. good reviews, so we tried. it is eating nothing too rave over, cut, not good, not bad. the waitress was kind.

this restaurant is attached to the non-hazardous brewery below the river. they can either dine inside or in the terrace that is well protected from rain. beer and eat are both good and friendly and efficient.
