Neighbourhood bakery with a wide selection of pastries, bread and breakfast kitchen. The Filialfront is quite narrow, so it is a little hard to see all the options and gives you little time to make the decision if you are not familiar with their offers. I went on a Sunday morning, the line was quite long, but quickly moved (separated lines for order and payment) and the staff was very sweet and helpful in explaining the menu. It was my first time, so I went with a chocolate croissant and a laib full tease. The chocolate Croissant was solid. The structure and fluffiness kept on the counter despite the cold weather and perhaps for a while. The chocolate was not too sweet and the right amount....

Essentially, this 9.5% fee could be used to pay employees when the establishment should be taking full responsibility for their wages. On top of this, customers are still expected to leave tips. Just today, I purchased some items and left a cash tip, only to later notice the service fee on my receipt. When I questioned it, I was handed a paper explaining the fee. If I hadn’t looked closely at my receipt, I would have had no idea I was charged extra. I’m sure many other customers are unaware as well! This new service fee is likely to drive both new and returning customers away, while also hindering staff from receiving extra tips. While staff may earn more overall, it's unfair for customers...

We had a blast in this little shop! We bought so many breads and pastries and they were delicious!!! The shop is small, but when you enter you get to watch the bakers through windows making the breads and pastries and pulling fresh ones out of ovens. Theyhost a variety of savory and sweet treats. They also serve crafted coffee and tea beverages that can be customized. The innerstore also has a large assortment of pickled foods, fresh dried pastas, oils, herbs and much more. If you want a neat littlebakery that makes you feel like you're a world away stop here!

I stopped by this restaurant on my way home from American University, and it was absolutely the best breakfast place I've encountered in the city so far. The atmosphere is delightful, and they have a wonderful selection of items available. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and the food was fantastic. My mom and I left with two gourmet bagel sandwiches and a few pastries to take with us. I can’t wait to make this a regular stop when I move to the city! Reserve uma mesa agora

As someone who enjoys creating wooden bar boards, I find this place to be one of the best sources for farm-to-table market ingredients like cheese, jams, pickles, and more. Not only do they have extraordinary artisan bread, but the variety of items you can pair with their baked goods is limitless. This bakery will definitely be a staple for my future visits to DC.

The atmosphere is friendly, the food is delicious, and the service is quick. It's fascinating to watch the bakers prepare the bread. I would love to see more pre-made sandwiches on the menu, but I would definitely return in a heartbeat.

Incredible bakery! It feels just like the ones you'd find in old Europe. The sandwiches, salads, soups, and pastries are all delicious. The staff is also very friendly!

I had to be educated upon placing my order, but once I ordered and my food arrived, wow, it was great, staff was very helpful, food great flavor.
