Since it is lsited here on HC I was expecting more. There were no choices on the menu so I asked the waitress. Vegan? Uhm. No. French Fries mabye Luckily it was possible to omit the cheese on eggplant with potato and tomato sauce. 9.80) It was really good but greasy. Veery greasy. Another big con is the big-portioned bolonaise they serve for 1.80. I love the idea of the cheap student cafe and the place is really neat overall. But I can only imagine where this meat must be from...

I ate here on the first day of my semester. It was packed, but the service was still friendly and fast. I ate vegan spaghetti at a great price. The part was so big that I shared it with a friend!

I like the Brenessel because it is good food, and beautiful beers, incredibly cheap. Although they serve meat and do not have a lot of vegan options, which is a pity.
