What service in this place... we went here for a drink. Now a local pub, sometimes you can feel very uncomfortable and aware of the fact that you're a stranger, but the landlady and the bar staff were so charming I could have stayed there all night.

I have visited the Brickmakers Arms twice now and both times I was greeted warmly by the staff and impressed with the variety of beers available. It is exactly what you would expect from a classic pub. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Not a lot right about this establishment. Rude landlord who was plainly obnoxious to customers and staff. Poor quality low end ‘pub grub’. Like something from the early 1980’s. Didn’t seen very clean either.

Food is average pub grub, atmosphere is not the best and the service is substandard. First and last visit and would not recommend going out of your way to visit.

Visited last month en route to my parents. Thought it looked quaint however once inside the levels of cleanliness was poor and the service was below par.
