Bromserhaus - Reservar uma mesa

Dropped off in Ruedesheim as a part of a day trip, looked around for a relaxed looking place for lunch and came across the Bromserhaus cafe. Being a group of six we found a table much easier than expected with no delays. The waitress gave us a warm welcome and did not delay in taking our drinks order and giving us menus. We all ordered a variety of drinks and food, which was served quickly and was piping hot. Good value for money, and i personally recommend the Bratwurst and one pizza fed two people, very tasty and great value for money. Three of us took the advice and tried a Ruedesheim Coffee. Asbach brandy set alight, coffee mixed in and generous topping of whipped cream... delicious and...

Having not found anywhere with availability for dinner we stumbled across this place it looked OK from the outside and they had space. They do however allow smoking in the outer dining area and the rear dining area, where we sat, was a bit souless. The food we had was just OK, but certainly nothing to write home about, but the service was pleasant enough.

I came to this quaint town on Mothers Day as I had booked a boat cruise for my wife and I. Why not get some ice cream before boarding, right. I did just that and really enjoyed the delicious gelato. I neglected to take a photo of my treat, but I decided on a cup with two scoops, one was Stracciatella with the other being black cherry. It was a great mix.

The ice cream looked delicious and the service was excellent. The taste was not as good as it looked, but we managed to finish it anyway! Next time, I will try another spot.

We were there for Rüdesheimer Cafe, which was good. Nice place to sit and have a coffee. I can not say same for ice-cream. Nothing was special.
