This is why we come here. Great local spot we found just driving down the road. My wife and I both had the brisket platters with cole slaw. I had baked beans and she had potato salad. Everything was amazing. Every last bite of all of it. Can't say enough. They only brought out one sauce. Not sure if they had others, but the one they brought was perfect. Peppery but not spicy. A little sweet but not too sweet. I prefer a hotter sauce than my wife by a lot. This was satisfying for both of us but those looking for heat might ask if they've got something to suit your taste better. And the staff was awesome. My husband ordered the brisket platter, which is his go-to, complete with grits, greens, and fried okra. I chose the pulled pork on Texas toast with fries, while our child opted for a cheeseburger with mac and cheese. The grits and greens were fantastic! Although I usually don't care for fried okra, theirs was exceptional—crispy and not greasy at all. The mac and cheese had a unique twist that our kid didn’t enjoy since it wasn’t the traditional style, but my husband and I thought it was delicious. Overall, I’d rate this place a perfect 10/10. If you're a BBQ lover, it’s definitely a must-visit! (Apologies for the blurry photo; I was too hungry to notice until we left!)

Overall, it’s a fantastic deal at $12.99 for the all-you-can-eat option, which includes coleslaw, Texas-style toast, BBQ baked beans, BBQ chicken, and pulled pork. The BBQ chicken was my favorite among the meats. The pulled pork tastes even better with extra sauce and when mixed with the juices from the baked beans. I also enjoyed the coleslaw. They start you off with a large plate of each item, but after that, you can customize your selections based on what you'd like more of. If you can eat more than two plates, you might belong in a zoo! The parking lot is a bit rough, but the ambiance has a classic feel to it.

We got the sampler platter. The ribs were undercooked. The brisket and chicken were ok. We ordered a side of sausage to try and it was ok. Pulled pork was pretty good. The “greens and grits” were delicious. The baked beans tasted just like canned pork and beans with smoke flavor added. The server was honest and said the okra comes in frozen (in a bag already breaded). They just fry it, so we skipped that. The service was great but I would not return to this restaurant. Great BBQ selection on menu. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Obvious choice for local patrons and visitors alike. We had the Wednesday special of all you can eat BBQ Pork and Chicken with sides of Baked Beans and Texas Toast. Food was plentiful and a full plateful! We will definitely return when we are in the Pensacola area.

This is hands down the best barbecue I've ever tasted! It's very affordable; I had ribs, pulled pork, chicken, brisket, toast, and two sides for just $20! The service was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly friendly. This place is definitely worth a visit—I'm giving it a perfect score of 20 out of 10!

I was driving by with the windows down when the delicious aromas caught my attention, prompting me to make a U-turn to discover their source. The BBQ nachos, ribs, grits, and greens were unforgettable. I'm definitely going back tomorrow!

Friendly staff Amazing barbecue the cook is 78 he knows what he’s doing !!! Very Large portions. Small restaurant so you get personalized attention customer service is FIVE stars !!!
