Visited on a Friday night without a reservation so the place was packed but luckily it was a nice evening so we accepted the offer of a sidewalk table and were seated immediately. Brea has a pretty quiet main street so it was fine to be seated on the sidewalk. We ordered from the weekend special menu which was $40 for three courses. I think that 's a bargain! The bread and oil was delicious, then we had some antipasti and a salad both very nice followed by steak, seafood cioppino, tiramisu and pannacotta. We love Bruno's. The food is always excellent and consistent. Last night, the service was just ok. Our server seemed rushed and even picked up my salad dressing while I was still eating my salad. She brought dessert menus before we were halfway through dinner. It was odd. It was busy but not slammed. I felt rushed, and when we left, the restaurant was less than half full. Again, the food was great. It was just an off night for service.

We all enjoyed our meals Fettuccine Al Granchio, Lasagna, Salmone, and Pollo Parmigiana. All fresh and delicious. We completed our meals with shared desserts, Cannoli cheesecake and Budino Al Caramello a guilty pleasure, very enjoyable. Prices were very reasonable. The staff was friendly and attentive from the hostess to the young man clearing our table. We will be back.

We celebrated our 5th anniversary here and it was a great choice! The food was great and exceeded our expectations. The only thing that may be a concern to some is that the seating is a bit close to other parties. Other than that everyone including the hostess were attentive and would definitely come again!

As usual, Bruno's lived up to all expectations. It is simply one of the best spots for a great meal and experience in the area! The food, service, and entire experience never varies! Simply put...you can't go wrong here!
