Sadly gone downhill. We used to come here quite a bit but have noticed a marked deterioration in the food over the last few years. Tonight was the final straw. We will not be back. Lovely staff but disgusting food. The burger I had must have been the cheapest of the cheap. I couldn’t eat it. My son’s pizza similarly poor. Weird sweet base heavily dusted in corn flour and what tasted like raw tomato purée on top. Branded sauces on the table now replaced with cheap alternatives. Cutting corners all round including maintenance around the building.

Tired surroundings and needs cash spent on improvements and entry area looks bad. However food is very good and staff are excellent. Try to see beyond the building as food and staff worth it.

ordered the large carvery with extra meat but the tiniest portion of beef was in there. barely any meat at all really so pretty disappointing
