I am in the hospitality industry so the first things I notice about a place are cleanliness, atmosphere, kindness, service and knowledge your product(s). 5 out of 5 stars on all accounts. I visited every bar in Buda, except for the new brewery that was just opened, and by far Nate's is the best institution. It has a beautiful mix of regulars and new moats. Whether it is 1 bartender or 3 working, they are always on the point of serving drinks, take care of customers and keep both the indoor and outdoor areas immaculate. Don't go here expecting restaurant service (ex. sub par drinks with little actual alcohol and cookie cutter food) this bar is the real deal! I found many classic cocktails with unique twists that inspired me as a bartender. My one regret was not having the capacity, as a drinker, to try them all. Thanks goodness for the espressos! My cheeks hurt from returning all the smiles the staff gave me. I'm just as excited to go back to see Shelly and Rachel as I am to try their next infusion!

Hands down the best bar in the Kyle-Buda-San Marcos area! I'll literally get out of my way to stop by Nates no matter where I am! It is the first bar I recommend to friends and outside the city. The staff in Nates is like family and I absolutely love their creative cocktails and the great bright beautiful venue: Seriously the best.

I love this place. I was there three times and every time I had a great experience. Love their drinks! They had a fresh watermelon mint Martini yesterday and it was really amazing. Great ambience, super clean, great drinks. It's my favorite place in Buda!

My favorite place! Every time I'm in Austin, I always have to go to Nate. I usually go several times during my visit. Everyone is always so friendly. I love the terrace and that people can bring their dogs. The drinks are always brilliant.
