Budburst Small Bar

A local food critic wrote a great review of the Budburst Small Bar, so we thought we'd try it out for a Sunday lunch. So glad we did. First, the food is simply fantastic. The two of us shard a half size charcuterie board for...openers. All pates and terrines, all delicious. Three small plates after that. Scallops, rare beef and baked beetroot. Not a foot wrong on any of them. Compliments to the chef. Second, staff were very friendly and helpful, without being overbearing or painful. We felt genuinely welcome. The wine list is good, and they were helpful in making recommendations. Final, it's a comfortable, but casual, room. Low key reuse of an old building. Nothing too flash, but nice. Only...

This feels like home every time we visit. The service is great, always friendly the food is delicious. This is a MUST visit place.

Warm friendly atmosphere, wines change every few weeks, kitchen is brilliant at preparing the best fare, knowledgeable staff.
