Buffy's Pub - Reservar mesa

We went here for lunch, had oyster burgers and halibut and chips. The fries were wonderful, seemed to be fresh cut with the peel on (which I love!) and not too skinny cut. The oysters in the burgers were good but the bun fell apart before I could finish. Next time knife and fork it. Nice fresh veggies, great coleslaw and a small but good piece of halibut completed our meals. A bit noisy with all the working people in over lunch but all in all, a good meal and worth the stop.

I asked around where good Fish & Chip were served in Sooke and from a couple of the locals they recommended Buffy's. Promptly we went and would not give it a 5 out of 5. It was average. It's not outstanding and I didn't think the fish was fresh either. I believe they batter and fry from frozen. I have not found a 'great' fish & chip place yet in Sooke BC.

It was about 3:00 p.m. a few people at the pub. Service was fast and Friendly. Had a chicken and prawn pineapple curry over rice, with small ceasar salad.loved it. My husband ordered an oyster burger however due to red tide oysters were not available, he had the prawn burger, great.

Food was ok- typical pub fare- if you managed to get what you ordered. I was there as part of a large part- they were expecting us, and most orders were incorrect in one way (or many). The manager DID buy us a round of drinks in effort to make it right, which was appreciated. Reserve uma mesa agora

The ambiance at this restaurant is fantastic, with plenty of light and a stunning view. The bartender, Pony, provided excellent service and we even had the pleasure of meeting the owner.

Wasn't sure about this place when we walked in - but was pleasantly surprised when my meal arrived. The mussels were to die for - so plump and juicy! We will definitely be back.

We've had takeout twice from Buffy's. The burgers are sloppy, soggy and greasy. They have very little flavour and are overpriced.

Good local pub with friendly staff and daily drink and food specials. Food usually good but hit and miss lately for some reason. Reserve uma mesa agora

If you're not a familiar customer, you may be overlooked at this restaurant. There are many better dining options in Sooke.

We really enjoyed the good food and great service. It is a busy place and the staff was very attentive and friendly.
