Buon Gusto - Reservar uma mesa

Thoroughly enjoyed our short visit to downtown Guelph for boutique shopping and dining. This restaurant is a very popular spot and has patio seating which can be reserved (at least that’s what I overheard). We enjoyed the comforts of indoor dining in the ambiance of elegance meets a touch of industrial. The decor of dark tones are are made even cozier with soft lighting and just enough natural light. Service was top notch. Food was excellent, served hot and generous portions. Comfort food was our focus. An appetizer of crostini with mushrooms and Gorgonzola cheese was delicious! We’ve booked a table in advance, noted we prefer a booth. Came on time. No seats were available. So they put us to the regular table.When it came to food, we asked all mains, which was pizza and pasta to bring all together. Three of us got melas only. We have been waiting for an extra 15 minutes for pizza for the forth person. I feel this is very unprofessional!The food was good size plates and tasty. But we haven’t been offered condiments and sauces. It’s expected to get some grated pepper or cheese in a good quality Italian Restaurant.However we got their excuse: free deserts.Well, I have controversial feelings at the end of the day. More likely not coming back. Sorry.

My husband and I had an amazing meal at Buon Gusto for our anniversary. We ordered the crispy pork belly for our appetizer and the carbonara and a prosciutto/fig pizza for our main course. We shared and both enjoyed everything. The pasta noodles were INCREDIBLE, melt-in-your-mouth, and their pizza crust is among the best we've ever had. The prices are very good given the quality of the dishes.Service was good and the atmosphere was lovely. We will definitely be back.

We usually go here for special occasions during lunch because it's close to the Co-operators office. The only difficulty is getting a reservation for a group of 5 or more. The food here is really good and fresh. Their lunch special is monies worth it. Comes with a pizzette and salad or soup. I usually get the mushroom soup because it's really tasty! The staff are really nice, I think the restaurant is family owned. Of course the wood fire oven pizzas are bomb!

Excellent Food, Excellent value. Service was a bit slow, but the food made up for it. Definitely recommend this place. Try the calamari.
