Buongusto - Reservar uma mesa

In a small village well served by coffee shops and restaurants, Buongusto stands out from the crowd. It is spacious, offers a variety of seating, has an interesting selection of cakes and biscuits, and no doubt proposes an interesting menu of light meals. The charming staff are efficient and courteous. In good weather I prefer to sit in shade at a sturdy table on the footpath, well protected from car doors and traffic by an attractive wooden barrier topped by pretty planter boxes. It's that attention to detail which sets Buongusto apart from the melée.

We had the pleasure of breakfasting at Buongusto recently. The new owners are a delight. The staff were professional, courteous and friendly. The cooked breakfasts we chose were tasty, hot, plentiful and served in a timely manner. The coffee was very delicious indeed. They offer a nice selection of homemade cakes, slices and menu items. This funky little cafe has a great feel to it, and as such is sure to become a family fav of ours. We will most certainly be back for more. .

3.4. Bright airy cafe on lower Heidelberg. The cafe was just bursting with light when I visited and on a pleasant Melbourne spring day the space felt wonderful. Service here was cheery and efficient today. The coffee was nice without setting the world on fire. There was a pleasant range of cakes, rolls, fruit and snacks on display. A range of meals is available here too. I’ll try food another time. Nice place that I’d happily revisit.

I think I have said it all. The service is good. After ordering at the counter, I was brought a bottle of water and my coffee and toast came shortly after. Both were good and the toast came with a generous serve of butter and vegemite.

This place is a great drop in place for a great coffee and slice of home made cake. They also have menu items freshly made. The owner and staff are always welcoming. You just feel at home here.
