I felt like having a hotdog and we were headed to Hatteras when we passed this place. I looked it up, decided it was good so turned back. We were quite hungry! There was a nice, silver haired gentleman hanging out there who I really liked. He seemed like the owner? I didn't have my hotdog though but shared the mushroom and swiss burger with my husband, though he ate mostly his salad . I liked the burger but asked for hotsauce and the gentleman brought me three! Every time I visit Avon/Hatteras Island, I make it a point to dine at this locally owned and operated establishment! The staff is incredibly friendly, the furnishings are impeccably clean, and the dishes are pleasantly appealing, making you want to come back for more. The highlight for me is the Smile Burger (as shown in the picture below). It’s truly one of the most unique and deliciously crafted burgers I've ever had. This impressive burger features a ring of melted Cheddar cheese encircling its perfectly grilled patty. You can either tear off the outer edges and stack them into the burger for an extra crunch or break them into separate pieces to enjoy like Parmesan crisps. Just a heads up...

From noon until Super Wings, this little burger joint is easily overlooked in a strip mall. Blink, and you might miss it! Fortunately, it’s one of the few places open during the off-peak hours of 11-4. The restaurant is bright, clean, colorful, and inviting. The large chalkboard menu is hand-drawn and showcases mouthwatering options. We decided to go with the classic burgers but added our own twists. Yes, the burgers are made to order. I had the Cheese steak sandwich with salad and french fries and it was very good. I was not able to eat the sandwich and the owner the front ladies were incredibly nice with me. I'm so sorry about that and I hugely appreciate your kindness. God bless this site.

Great place for a casual lunch! We enjoyed some burgers and the crabcake sandwich. Everything was so delicious! The owner was very friendly and attentive. As other commentators mentioned, be prepared for a wait, it is worth it!

Fantastic food overall and some of the best chicken wings around. Reasonable prices, friendly and quick service. We visited in 2019 and it was so memorable we went back twice during our 2022 vacation!
