Burger Lobster Threadneedle

We went to the Threadneedle St. restaurant on Saturday afternoon after visiting The Natural History Museum with our family. The restaurant is impressive, bright, and spacious with a wonderful atmosphere, even though there were only a few people dining. There were four adults and two children in our group, a 6 year old and a nearly 2 year old. From the moment we arrived, the staff were outstanding, the service was excellent, and they made our dining experience unforgettable. I always look forward to my visits to B&L, principally because it's a rare treat to have freshly cooked lobster. I'm not sure what was going on in the kitchen in Threadneedle St, but it wasn't freshly cooking trans Atlantic lobster. I asked for it to be cooked half and half (i.e. half boiled and half grilled) but it was 100% boiled.......and to within an inch of oblivion. The meat was soft to the point of being mushy which is such a waste of an expensive animal/crustacean. B&L, if you take the trouble to fly them all the way over from the US then please at least cook them properly. PS my business colleague was also disappointed with his Wagyu Beefburger but he can write his own review.

I went to the restaurant with four friends yesterday. The food was delicious, especially the lobster roll. The service was friendly and efficient, and the restaurant itself was beautiful. I will definitely be returning.

We went here for a team dinner. Drinks: there were some interesting cocktails on the menu, I tried a few and they were all lovely. Food: a tried the calamari, lobster roll and crème brûlée. Everything was really good.

The menu at this restaurant is really good, and the food serving was excellent. The high ceilings make it quite noisy, so I recommend coming with friends. The Beast burger was really delicious, to be fair.
