BEWARE OF THIS PLACE! Edit: to correct some voice typos and to respond to the management comment. For some people $30- $60 per person is an insignificant amount of money. There's a nice status symbol feel to the atmosphere. You might feel like you're cool. There's no status symbol in the service or the food. It was hard to tell if our server was just overwhelmed with tables or incompetent so I can't judge. It wasn't the worst but she wasn't over indulgent with attending to our table. That gave us plenty of time to socialize and chat and it was the only good part of the entire experience. Let's talk about the food for a minute. I am very disappointed because I just loved the Solon restaurant. It took our waitress over 30 minutes to bring our table glasses of water. It took even longer if you ordered anything more than water. Then after that we waited over an hour to be able to place our food order. I ordered the fish and chips with coleslaw. When I got my meal the fish batter was pretty close to 1/2 thick and it was way over cooked to the point it had started burning. The fries and coleslaw were fine though. The waitress seemed more focused on people on the patio and just gave us completely horrible service. We were there about 2 hours before we finally got our meals. Ok.., I don't know if you've ever watched a episode of : Restaurant Impossible, but if you have , you'll understand what I'm about to convey...... The picture is deceptive because it's exceptionally filthy in this place, so much so that they actually keep the lighting so low that you don't notice the ceiling tiles are completely coved in dust No Longer White)! All of the silverware and cups were spotted with an unusual outdoor smell to them. We dinned indoors)! The food seemed spot on, but you just can't take the doggie smell associated with the dishes it comes on. Lastly: Our server was great, but how do you explain to a baby: Not to poop your pants?

I wish I would have taken pictures. The food was yummy. We had a small bridal shower there. 20 people. Communication was great. The service was awesome. For pretty much one waiter for 20 people. She did awesome! It’s rustic and very intimate. Drinks were great also. I would definitely recommend to anyone.
