Butlers Retreat - Reservar uma mesa

After a long walk in Epping Forest, I decided to stop by this restaurant located right on the edge of the forest in Chingford. The building has a nice appearance from a distance and offers both outdoor and indoor seating options. Dogs are only allowed inside while ordering, which was a bit unusual, but since it was a nice day, I chose to sit outside. The service was a bit lackluster, but there was a good selection of drinks and food at reasonable prices, making it suitable for a quick brunch. However, the restaurant had a slightly shabby feel to it, which was a shame.

The afternoon tea was amazing, one of the best we've had so far! Thank you! This place is a hidden gem. We will definitely be back.

Lovely place for a coffee or sausage roll whilst wandering Epping Forest. They sell alcohol and ice cream too which is fab.

The food selection is limited but good. Very welcoming staff. Family friendly. Would recommend
