Buxton Fried Fish Chip Shop

The traditional fish and chips here are outstanding! There are also plenty of other menu options to choose from. The portions are generous and everything is cooked fresh to order, which is always a positive sign. One piece of feedback I have is that the tubs for extras like peas and curry gravy could be bigger.

Super fresh oil and lovely crispy batter. Everything here is first class. We got 2 sharing boxes of chips and fed 3 adults and 2 large kids easily. Sausages and fish all in for £17 amazing. The packaging is eco friendly recyclable card too. Thanks for a lovely meal.

I came by chance over this chip, as I have vacation here and normally I leave the half of my chips and fish, this chip store has eaten me all because it is the best chip store I've ever been, I wish I go in the opposite and not london I would be here every day

My only concern is that I have a family member with a food allergy, and I was informed by the staff that the chips and everything else are cooked in the same oil with no separate fryer. Despite that, I still rate them 4.6 stars. Cheers to Gastro-Fry!

best fish and chips I had for years! we came to closing times, but they were happy to stay open and serve us. I'd make it up to you!
