Cabo Roig - Reservar uma mesa

We 've been going here for 12 years. The first few visits were great friendly helpful staff and great food. We had the 5 course fish menu once and it was amazing. However, over the years it 's got gradually worse. Now it 's atrocious. The place was about 30% full when we arrived but it took so long to get the waiter to take our drinks order I eventually went to the bar and brought the drinks to the table myself. Then every time I tried to attract their attention I was abruptly told to 'wait! ' 30 mins in and no sign of our food being ordered we started to notice local families arriving and being greeted with smiles and served immediately! We hadn 't even ordered our food and there were 3 tab...

This must have one of the best settings locally sitting above cabo Roig marina. The terrace offers fixed price menus at 13 euros all day long every day including a drink. Food is ok but service can be slow as often too few serving staff in busy periods. But not a place to worry about time.

Lovely view by the Cabo Roig Marina. Try their Calamares Andaluza. Or visit its back pocket La Tasca with more generous opening hours and a good tapas menue. You can reach it by car, or by a wonderful coastline walk from La Zenia Beach

In a word shocking, there were 2 poor waiters trying to service about 30 tables outside, completely impossible, definitely the worst managed restaurant in spain. We had to queue inside to pay our bill

Good tappas,and big potions, frendlig staff. but if your are not hungry, just come and enjoy a glass of wine and watch the beautiful view
