Cafe' 100 - Reservar uma mesa

Someone suggested trying Cafe 100 for brunch, so gave it a try! Didn't have reservations, so it was about a 15-20 minute wait before getting a table on a Saturday morning. It's located off of Old Statesville/Gilead in Huntersville in what appears to be an old house...remodeled into a restaurant. Parking is available behind the restaurant and there are a good amount of spaces available. There are a good amount of tables/seating outside in the courtyard area and a decent amount of tables/seating inside. A little cramped, but it wasn't the worst. Ordered the Southwest Burrito and side of potatoes and it looked very appetizing! It was pretty good, but I honestly wouldn't say that it was the best...

We saw good reviews on Yelp, so one Saturday while our power was out, we decided to stop in. There was a wait ahead of us, but we got seated pretty quickly. 30 mins for a party of 2 isn't bad. It was pretty packed both inside and out, and people tended to crowd around the bar to order cocktails while they were waiting for a table. I always like to check for the daily specials and went with the peach pancakes which were that day's special. Well sadly they weren't anything special. I expected peaches in the actual pancake batter and maybe some well seasoned savory peaches on top. I did not get that. Love love love Cafe 100! I have been a number of times and always have a good experience. With that being said, they were slammed yesterday. But I'm not going to hold it against them. The wait wasn't too bad for a table. We were told to expect a 25 min wait and it was right around that. However, we were then told that it would take between 30-60 minutes for our food to come out once we ordered. That was definitely the longest part of our wait. They seemed to be pretty short-staffed. I probably shouldn 't be leaving Yelp reviews if I can 't confirm the identity of a potato salad. On the other hand, that makes me different. Who wants to read reviews left by uptight, palate-superior, big-vocabulary-using ducklings. It wasn 't really ducklings. It was another word that starts with a D and ends with 'bags. ' Either way, I 'm about to tell you about my BLT. It was good. That 's it. It was good. Not amazing. If you want a monster BLT, go to Metro Diner. Service was very good though. Tight quarters but still good atmosphere. Very homey. Fair prices. Overall, recommended.

The way this business handled a busy Saturday brunch rush was impressive. Pretty sure one of the servers was playing hostess as well. Specialty cocktails were delicious. ****** Mary was good but nothing special. Skip the crab benedict, it lacked the wow factor. The smoked salmon Benedict was a must! Sooo good! 5 stars for their hospitality alone. Would definitely come back here.
