We make family pizza night every Saturday and thought we had been to every place in town. We were surprised to learn from Cafe Amalfi and on a tip from a stranger we gave it a try. We fell on a Saturday about 8p and there were only 2 other tables, so it was quiet. The service was really good (especially sure he was the owner). The food came super fast, almost surprisingly fast, but it was perfectly cooked. The pizza crust was thin, but not too thin, it was only thick enough to give beautiful stability, but not so dough that you felt stuffed after a piece. The crust taste was excellent. The fresh mushrooms were the best we ever had on a cake, hearty slices, so they did not boil down to mush....
We went to lunch this afternoon. We've been talking about visiting for a while, but we haven't had the time to come in. Now after today we are happy that we stopped and ate because it was delicious and everything was very authentic. Restaurant at the first appearance on foot in was much more beautiful than expected and the owner took care of us. The antipasto was perfect with lots of meat and the right amount of green. (Very little). The Stromboli's were delicious and my wife's fried eggplant parmesan should die according to her. Please visit this restaurant on site and you will not be disappointed!
