Cafe Amphora - Reservar uma mesa

we struggle finding places on the foreshore to have a late breakfast on the weekends . After being turned down for breakfast from 11am at many places we found this little gem cafe just our cup of tea. I ordered the Amphora breakfast which is, two poached eggs, rye bread, tomatoes, spinach , smoked salmon with cream cheese. I love the fact they put the spinach on the side as the cream cheese . A lot of places place it on the bread making it soggy. The cream cheese on the side is a different twist again I love that I can put on as little or as much as I fancy . My husband ordered the scrambled egg and nice lean bacon which was cooked well . The staff are very welcoming and friendly. obviously...

Had brekky with friends on Sunday at this little cracker of a place. We don't get to Rockingham often but when we do we make a beeline for brekky at this ripper cafe. The food is excellent and freshly cooked with real love, care and attention. The staff are brilliant, so friendly, cheerful and obviously really happy working in this environment. There is an excellent range of choices for brekky and at other times and the prices are really reasonable. A couple of the ladies loved the avocado and egg breakfast wrap minus the cheese and at $8.50 really good value. Those having bacon and eggs and the Amphora breakfast all stated their meals were excellent and I lashed out on the Amphora brekky **...

Have been back here a few times since my review in July.Enjoyed a cappuccino and muffin this morning (Sunday), what really draws me back is the artwork on the plate - it always makes me laugh.Today the plate was decorated with a Swan, another time it was musical notes or Chinese pictograms and the first time a mug of coffee...all very well done..Drop in for your own piece of art with cakes or muffins.

Very friendly service, and they accommodated and took interest in our family and dog. However, we were disappointed with the pasta and the coffee. I ordered chicken fettuccine, and my wife a seafood fettuccine, and they look the same and tasted the same. Chicken was dry, and the fettuccine was drown in a soup of cream.

My Sister and I often enjoy Lunch at Amphora. They have a great menu... We love the Homemade Soups and a Crusty roll, and they make a great Coffee.  The Family Run Cafe, is full of Laughs and the Service is great.   Highly recommend it..
