Cafe de la Poste - Reservar uma mesa

I had been recommended this restaurant by a friend who was there several years ago. I took the recommended dish, tuna, and my girlfriend a steak. The tuna was good, but the steak was not, especially for that price. The fries were dull. Our neighbours complained to the staff so we weren't alone to not be satisfied. And when we asked for the bill we had to remind the staff twice, even though they weren't busy working.

Although the waiter showing me the table was quite kind, the other waiter serving food and drinks was beyond rude, almost hostile! He almost threw the water bottle on the table. And when the goat cheese salad didn’t quite look as I expected, he almost (angrily! touched the food to show the goat cheese, despite all of the hygiene measures taken these days...

The burger and fries are very tasty. The best burger in Corse we’ve had. (So I gave 5 stars) Pizza is so so. The seafood fish is ok, but not as expected. Table service need be improved. The welcoming man outside restaurant was very nice. But the table service staffs seems a bit cold.

We ate dinner here as part of a group so our menu was preordered. The charcuterie plate was delicious and the vegetables with our meat course where fresh. The local cheese was perfect. Great wine too.

Pizza doesn’t taste fresh, waiters could have been friendlier. Only positive thing: Service was quick. Wouldn’t visit again!
