Cafe Del Mar - Reservar uma mesa

This is a large, but relaxed and informal cafe a short distance away from the hustle of central Carnegie. Parking is easy, there’s a tram right outside or you can wander down from the Carnegie train station. It’s great for a Sunday morning coffee and is large enough to fit groups and solos alike, without anyone feeling cramped or overheard. Service is good and the menu is varied. I sat and chatted for a while with my companion and we were never rushed or felt we needed to move on. We enjoyed fruit toast when we first arrived, then when lunchtime came I had a fabulous Smoked Salmon Salad with added avocado the salad was beautiful and generously served with salmon and avocado. This place has a great vibe. Tables are well spaced giving me no fear of CoVid germs. There’s also outdoor dining in the street and a cute courtyard with an outdoor playground if you have little ones. Coffee is great. Breakfasts interesting, well presented and tasty. Staff very friendly. I stayed in this area for a week, found this place and returned several times.

We lived nearby so quick often we would go to Del Mar for breakfast. We loved the surroundings and the excellent services. Food quality is above standard and with reasonable price. If you ever drive by I would recommend you taking a break for coffee at least.

Came for breakfast while in the area good honest food extra large portions. Just before lunch we arrived I had the hamburger with chips others had vegetable stack. Food arrived quickly huge food cabinet with lots of baked goods.

When we're in Melbourne, especially near Carnegie we're always happy to call in for coffee or lunch or both. Both have been consistently good. We've been coming here for years. Always a pleasurable experience.
