Cafe Du Monde - Reservar uma mesa

I arrived at this restaurant around 6:15am and found the staff to be half asleep and unresponsive when I asked for the restroom. While my partner used the restroom, I looked over the menu since it was my first time there and I didn't know how to order. When it was my turn to use the restroom, I could hear my partner engaging in conversation with strangers. When I came out, I was greeted warmly by Clarice and Beau, who happily shared the history of Chicory coffee with us again. They were very friendly, although I felt like we needed a moment to ourselves. The restaurant was clean and we received samples of their frozen iced coffee. I had a wonderful experience at this small restaurant. The food was just as delicious as the original location in New Orleans, but without all the drama. The beignets were excellent and the café au lait was strong and flavorful. I also enjoyed browsing through the souvenirs they had available. It was a pleasant surprise to come across this gem while traveling on Interstate 12. The restaurant had a good number of employees, which was a refreshing change from many other nearby restaurants.

On our way home from Florida for Thanksgiving with family, we decided to take a break and enjoy some beignets and coffee. We knew we had to stop at Cafe Du Monde because of its great reputation. We ordered two orders to eat there and six to take with us. The beignets were delicious and fresh. It was a good thing we arrived early because it got very busy as we were leaving. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. We will definitely be back for more. Yum!

I've been traveling down i10 my entire life and finally had the pleasure of enjoying the famous beignets. They definitely live up to the hype. This location is great, low key with easy access (plenty of parking too), stop in and enjoy a Cafe at lait!

Stopped here just for the Beignets.. and they are delicious... a must stop. Trust me on this one!! Recommend
