Cafe Ginger - Reservar mesa

Second chance for this cafe......but will be its last. No acknowledgement on entering despite staff standing chatting, dirty table covered in crumbs, greasy menu and upon asking for the table to be wiped when asked for our order, the waitress did so grudgingly and in a clear display of inconvenience at being asked, swept all the debris onto the floor. At this point we left!! I have no doubt that this is a really good every day cafe, but with customer service like this, I wont be giving it another chance to find out!!

Been to Cafe Ginger a few times during our stay in Ayr. We had sandwiches and cake to take out. What a great find! The sandwiches are just amazing. Super fresh bread cut into seriously thick slices with tons of filling. I had granary bread with brie, tomato and herby mayonnaise. My partner had white bread with mexican chilli tuna and salad. We both had lovely raspberry sponge cakes. All this came to just over £10. It Is really good value as the sandwiches are HUGE and very filling.

The door staff were completely disinterested in their job, the table and chairs were dirty, and the menu even stuck to our hands. When we asked a girl to clean our table, she only gave it a half-hearted wipe and then just dropped the cloth on the floor. The staff showed no interest in us during our visit, and it's a shame that tourists have to experience this. As a local from Ayr, I was very disappointed. The restaurant needs a thorough cleaning and improvement in staff attitude.

This restaurant offers good quality food, with large portions of sandwiches and consistently tasty soups and desserts. They are one of the few places that have reasonable prices compared to supermarkets and other restaurants, especially considering the current inflation and price hikes. Me and my partner came to the establishment a few days ago to grab a bite to eat. We didn't know that our waiter would be the famous football reserve for Ayr United Finn Ecrepont! We were delighted to have gotten to meet him as well as grab a bite to eat. tHE FOOD WAS VERY WELL PRICED AND TATSY TO.

Food excellent,staff very friendly and great value for money. Will defo be back. Stopped by to pick up breakfast after walking the dog. Service was great and will make it a regular thing. Chicken salad sandwich was huge, had to save half for lunch £2.75. Would highly recommend.

very gd sandwiches, but they had obviously been running out chickens mayo, so easy mayo laid on the brot, then simply frying. this was only a small problem, as eating was very gd and the portions were as big as ever.

amazing caffe run by friendly real locals. they didn't have exactly what I recently asked in the evening, but the personal offered delicious alternatives that were going down a tasty bite from everyone. Thank you. Reserve uma mesa agora

A short visit here, where my colleague kindly treated me to an Egg and Squared Sausage Roll, after our site meeting. Decent butty, friendly staff and good value for money. A place to look out for!

Fantastic take away sandwiches. Really good service and quick too. It's also cheaper than coffee shop chains and Gregg's and much nicer. Highly recommended
