Everything was going pretty well until I asked our waitress if this was the oldest coffee house in Linz, couldn’t remember which one, she looked at me and stated, “I don’t know, I don’t know, this question is for tourist services, I don’t have time for such things.” Really. End of the friendly banter. However I do highly recommend the goulash soup.

We went to Kaffee Glockenspiel to grab some Coffee, a Sachertorte and a Punschkrapferl. The waiter was very friendly, the service was very fast and the desert and the coffee were delicious. And in addition it is located right in the center.

Amazing decor and ambience like in the gold era. Very nice staff that fulfilled our every need. Mid-century upper Austria decor with heavy wooden furniture and stone arches. Food was fresh, hot, delicious and nicely presented.

Wonderful coffee place with a great local authentic atmosphere. They have the best orange punch ever. The attitude of the stuff is great. Love it
