Our favorite local spot for coffee and a light meal. Thoughtful food options, including vegetarian and some vegan. The quiche never disappoints, but often sells out, so get it when you can! The French caramel apple cake and espresso brownie are other family favorites. Half the fun is poking around the cozy little seating areas to pick your spot. The outdoor seating feels intimate too, and it?s hard to choose between the fun of watching the traffic stop at the light from the front porch (every toddler?s fantasy) or enjoying the sunny patio out back. Friendly and helpful staff. It?s my happy place!

I always take my mother here when she visits State College. It has wonderful owners and a delightfully cozy atmosphere inside and out. If you're looking for whole bean coffee, I go for Grounds for Divorce. I was also pleasantly surprised by the safety precautions they took during COVID. I cannot recommend this place enough.

The best! Friendly staff, delicious coffee and cake! Has been my favorite coffee shop the last 10 years. And I really appreciate they still wear masks. It really makes me feel they care about people like me who are high risk and my too little to bevaccinated children.
