Cafe Meyer - Reservar mesa

The café lies in the village below the castle (Burg and there is a free public car park next door although we usually walk to it from neighbouring Glueder because we love the well organised and signposted footpaths through the forests along the valley beside the Wupper. The café is fairly small although upstairs in addition to the restaurant there is a balcony with outside seating. We have always received a warm welcome (although speaking German does definitely help! The cafe lies in Bergisches Land and one of the local dishes is Waffel with cherries (Kirschen and cream (Sahne . If you like sweet dishes then this comes highly recommended. after a 2 hour walk I was very happy to have a refreshing and a delicious piece of homemade torte. the caffe is very cozy and has a beautiful sun terrace directly on the wupper. the choice of cake is extensive, and for each taste what is there. it would be nice if the service would fit the whole ambiente, that was unfortunately not true. I would not be ignored for 10 minutes, and no one came to pay. I had to go to the counter and I was first ignored by the service. very bad!

after one of our hikes, we have been received friendly here and have eaten delicious cakes. Unfortunately, the service was very unattentive and slow.In our visit there were also four dogs present at the same time, which were very disturbing at least for us.The resulting unrest as well as the resulting odor were absolutely not pleasant! Too bad, it could have been nice! I would be happy if my little contribution to the experience could be helpful.

we needed an ice-cream on our bike tour through the mountain. Fortunately, there are not only the mountain coffee table, but also a few ice-creams. we sat on the terrace at the top. Sunday afternoon, good weather (for motorbike driving,) it was almost half full. service was friendly, not hectic. everything tasted good. we were satisfied. näxtes year again! located directly in Unterburg, this café offers the typical mountainic afternoon kitchen to the coffee cabinets. it is a bit narrow from the inside, but it is just an old factory house with special charm.
