vegans are spoiled in this cozy restaurant for a clear selection. standouts were the butter-chana-dolle and the oily-in-a-good-way-aubergine with a turmeric-glow and the bite of unusual shallow bean seeds. the latter has borrowed from the side shell size serving between two servier plates. although not marked as such, chapatis can be vegan depending on the night (after the butter of the cook we have told) so it is worth asking. the cold in some alignment as the delle can also be heated on request.

I visited here with friends and we were warmly welcomed even when we arrived early. all the other tables were filled while we were there, many people have eaten their food significantly, but it never seemed too loud or too busy. the service was attentive and friendly. I really enjoyed my meal, although I am very picky what I eat. there was no hurry and the atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed. the negative reviews I've read here do not seem to fit cafe mumbai at all I would definitely go back.

The food has improved MASSIVELY recently. It's absolutely delicious and always ready on time, with a menu which seems to be growing- and loads of vegetarian options. I'm a coeliac and they are one of the very few places I trust. They are scrupulous at making sure no gluten contaminates my food. The customer service is great.
