We found this cafe on the off chance whilst walking along Marktstrasse and decided to stop as it said Konditorei a good sign! We sat outside in comfortable chairs with sun umbrellas but the inside seating area is also light, bright and inviting. The...staff are friendly and were patient as I ordered in limited German! Cafe Schuler has been here since at least the the first time I came was in the early and it has been the place that I never miss when in Germany even if it is a bit of a drive. The...cakes are moist and delicious, order at the counter and then head back to order coffee and tea. The chocolates were something we carried back to the US, to be savored on special occasions. The marzipan (look for dark chocolate with the pink swirl on top) were my favorites. Expensive but worth every euro!

Perfect setting, the bakery had a tremendous selection of tarts, cakes, chocolates, and candies. Service was friendly and swift despite the large crowds due to Ascension Day. Recommend.

kuchen in hull and fill, I had a piece of black forests, delicious! with my cappuccino, tasty! very busy, they see natives who flow this place. a must for coffee
