Cafeterias Maruja - Reservar uma mesa

we were in Es Castell on a half board basis and were looking for a snack at lunchtime. we happened upon this café and got a good sandwich freshly prepared to take away. later we went back and had a snack and drink. the place is very clean including immaculate toilets. there is ample seating inside and some outside. The prices are very reasonable and the person who served us on both occasions extremely pleasant and helpful.

Great little cafe and takeaway on Carrer Gran. The bakery and patisserie products are resh and tasty and reasonsably priced. There are a few little bakeries in Es Castell but this over shadows them all and Tres Pans is not a patch on this. There are plenty of locals that frequent this place too which is always a good sign. They even have a tea menu ! Staff are lovely too.

The cafe is very Spanish which is a pleasant change in the cosmopolitan Esperanto Castell! The decor was simple and attractive, the food good and varied, the staff friendly. A place to set your Spanish! Baking products were delicious!
