Caleidoscope Cafe - Reservar uma mesa

For many months, I used to come here 3 times a week. I always ordered the same thing, chicken burger meal that includes chips and a can of soda. As I don't drink soda, I always told the owner that I will have the tap water. Still paying the same amount as the full meal. I was OK with that. Until one day, when I asked for additional aioli for my chips and she wanted to charge me additional 50 cents! It's not about the money! 50 cents is nothing, but to treat your regular customer this way? I think that's a bit rich. The owner of this cafe does not care if you are a returning customer. She is after quick 50 cents win. They lost me since then.

Owner is alwayys friendly and does it best to remember your name and your order. I often take my 4 years old here for milkshakes/coffee and a snack. But would not recommend the food. Whenever I ordered food, it was not properly cooked and cooked under or over. Great place for a drink and cake.

You can ignore all reviews before March 2020. The new owners have renovated the café, offer excellent service and make the best 'old style' real hamburgers in Sydney. Worth a visit. We've been loyal to this little café.

What a selection of lunches and also popular. And the freshly pressed juice combinations are excellent. And everything served by very friendly people.

If I could give it zero, I would. I paid $6 for hot chips and that's what I was given. Absolute joke. Not happy and still hungry
