Campanile Auch - Reservar uma mesa

Stayed here to attend a wedding outside of Auch. Other guests rooms were fine, ours on the other hand should not have been open to allow people to stay in it. The skirting boards were coming off the wall due to damp, the carpet along the side of the bed was soaking wet, skirting boards opposite the bed also had water between them and the wall. The smell of the room was revolting, it smelt like a dirty, damp public toilet combined with old socks. The floor outside the bathroom was lifting off the ground and had some sort of slushy glue and water seeping out of it and every time you stepped on the floor the glue/water would squish out the gaps in the floor boards. If I could give 0 stars, I would. This was the worst place I’ve even been around the world. The “director,” Marie Perigaud, was very disrespectful and rude. She’s was out right yelling at us. Saying “ I have the right to speak to you people the way I want to.” After I simply asked her how does she have the right to speak the way she is to us. She was upset that we were not out at 11:59. Check out is 12:00. We were packing to leave as we were a little behind. We told her we were moving as fast as we could. We simply asked for 10 minutes. She went crazy. Plus the phones in the room didn’t work. The room took hours to heat. I do not ask for much. I would have given a good review despite a few t...

Rooms were small but clean. Beds were comfortable. Restaurant food was average. I expected Fish'n'Burger to have both fish and burger but it was only a few goujons of fish in a bun. Not very good value. The room we were in would not be suitable for someone of reduced mobility. There was no lift and bath/shower sides were very high.

Great rooms, Great staff that were very welcoming, and the director ordered halal meat for the restaurant when she saw our names on the guest list, how can I give any less than 5 stars after that?

A good place to stop for the night, reasonably priced, pet friendly, clean with an on site restaurant. If you're on the move it's ideal.
