We ate here twice while in Schladming (as we were staying at the hotel) and our only regret is that we didn’t do so more or have more than just a main course. Menu is not too crowded and suggests that the people behind the dishes actually thought about them while retaining a local twist. Everything we had on both visits was very well prepared and presented; the stand out being the smoked pheasant with pumpkin risotto. This is also the sort of place where you won’t feel out of place with a beer or even hot chocolate but if wine is your things then the staff can also recommend something for each dish from the small but equally well composed wine list. There are a lot of places to eat in Schladming but this is a cut above the rest. They offer a variety of interesting dishes, all served in a modern and interesting way. We had Salmon served on a Himalayan salt block. They have recently renovated and it is really worth a visit.

Stayed at the hotel on b&b basis but found ourselves eating at the hotel most nights given the good quality food and friendly service restaurant constantly full so HB well worth considering. Great to see regional dishes and excellent Austrian wines!

Well worth their dinner even8ng, food was good , service excellent and facilities we of highest quality, i woukd highly recommend. Will visit once more before my ski trip ends

I had dinner in the restaurant twice during my stay and the food was superb quality each time. Much to choose from you won't be disappointed.
