Cantina 109 - Reservar uma mesa

My friend and I went this Saturday (3:30) for a late lunch. National Tequila Day was Sunday 7/24/22 and I got a gift card. This is a good restaurant and has the largest bar area; but if you are known for 109 different Tequila 's that you sell, it is almost expected that you will be ready for this annual event. I must say that I was surprised that there was only one bartender and one server that worked all the place. We sat at the bar and the bartender got us Chips Salsa very fast. Then it went straight down. We couldn't get the bartender back to take over our drinks order. With Chips salsa you needed something to wash it. The bartender's friend visited her. This was my first and last visit to this restaurant. The only reason I am even giving it 3 stars is because our server was super friendly and nice and did a great job. That being said my meal was gross and I only ate a few bites. I ordered the taco salad with shredded chicken. I was fine with the fact that the lettuce was all iceberg but I was not fine with the fact that the shredded chicken seemingly came out of a can, and wasn 't even drained. I opted not to use any dressing but somehow the bottom of the bowl was full of liquid. This was one of the most disappointing salads I 've ever had. My lunch in Cantina 109 last week was AMAZING! The new chef Adam came at the table and hand delivered my meal. I was blown away, not only how beautiful the presentation was, but also how delicious it was. Steak was tender, all vegetables super fresh! The service during lunch at the bar was also fantastic, did not wait long for everything. In any case, try this place, you will not regret it!

Great staff. Very friendly and efficient. Had special nachos on Monday. It was more than enough for two of us. Lunch is not so busy, so it is quite and relaxing
