Cantina Don Camillo

first, this place is hard to find! I had to ask a local walker, as I went up and down the road for 5 minutes, passing by the place, as their signage is very bad. also their elevator is old and funky, how. a camp use the stairs when it makes them nervous because the buttons inside to serve, they are written in German and are not to understand when they do not know the speeches. it would be very helpful for tourists to add ENGLISH labels to the buttons (please.) eating and service were very good. many vegan options as well as meat options. service is friendly and environment is hip. there is also a beautiful terrace in the open.

what a fantastic out of the normal experience you can get in basel; fantastic service, fantastic eating, amazing ambiente! one of the rare hidden places in my hometown! another special thanks to the extremely friendly staff that is so sadly hard to find in my...loved city. a sensational experience for visitors from the carnivores and vegan lifestyle as much.

Don Camilo was a great restaurant 10 years ago. Every season had a new menu. It’s a pity the creatively was removed from the kitchen. The current owners have been trading on the past reputation ever since. Such a shame.
