We tried all their tacos...the carne asada was not the chop chop street tacos found in Tijuana and San Diego, but more al pastore with its stewed beef and served with apple...WHY APPLE? The chicken was dry and needed the guacamole but the salsa was chopped fresh tomato and sprigs of cilantro...not salsa. They were really stingy with their portion for carnitas...but it was flavored well with hints of orange, as it should be. However, there were no crispy carnitas bits. The fish tacos from Ensenada don't have as much fish, and a lighter batter. They are served with cole slaw, a white mayo like sauce, real salsa and a slice of avocado. Ordered three times from this place. The first time was very very good. I had tacos and the fried chicken appetizer. It was just awesome. I ordered tacos the following week and it was disastrous as the bread (tortilla) was clearly old and not fresh. It was at least a day or two old. That food belonged to the trashbin. I thought maybe that was just a one-time thing. So i ordered today again tacos and a mini burger. Again the tacos were disastrous. The tortilla stale and the carnitas had a weird taste, unusually dark color and just weird texture. The miniburger was also bad and again the bread was hard and stale. Come here only if you have at least 20 minutes to waste in your lunch hour to wait for your overpriced meal to come about. I do not understand the hype about this place, which I know very well as it is at the doorstep of my office. The tacos are so wet that the filling needs to be fished out of the plate with your fork, no way of eating them taco-way.The hamburger is very messy, with a whole lot of avocado. The worse part is that the meat - which is good - is all screwed up into a meatball rather than in an hamburger shape, which, again, makes it impossible to eat it with your hands.On the bright side, the fries are good. For one hamburger to go with no drink 15€.Seriously, not worth it.

Went here with my family, we had the tacos (fish and chicken), a chicken burger and a superfood salad. All dishes were really good and more than enough to a feed hungry and tired group. If you are unsure go for 3 tacos to start with as they are deceptively filling. Price was on par with the other meals we had in Paris so approx 100 euro for two adults and two kids with drinks Reserve uma mesa agora

Cantine California seems to be popular with locals. Given that it's very close to the apartment where I'm staying, I gave it a try this afternoon. I'd a Cali' Classic burger which was very average in all respects (beef, bread and chips). Given that the place seems to specialise in quality burgers, I was disappointed with what I got. No intention to return.

The restaurant was very quiet when we arrived at about 7.15 on a Friday night but soon started to get busy. We all had burgers and fries which were delicious. The kids then had a chocolate brownie each which were massive! Great food, in a fun atmosphere for a reasonable price - what more do you want?

This place use to be one of my favorite burger joints in Paris. The taste has been the same since they opened, but the staff has changed several times and it was getting worst and worst. Nevertheless, last time we went the staff was better which make the experience better.

We went for lunch on a saturday with 12 persons, we had to sit downstairs, which was oke but upstairs is cosier. Good salads and burgers. Taco was not so good. Very friendly staff which was helpful in understanding we had not so much time. Reserve uma mesa agora

Good, consistent food with a local vibe. The burgers are a stand-out, service is pretty efficient and the prices are reasonable. Perfect place to hang out with friends.
