This Diner would have got 5 stars if we had been able to get peas with the fish and chips, we 'd been offered bread like other tables were and the older gentleman at reception hadn 't been so grumpy as we left. He needed to read the sign on the wall! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The decor was awesome and the place was exceptionally clean. The food the starter of mushrooms and curd cheese was excellent and a very good portion, my husband 's burger was one of the best he 'd ever eaten. The fried chicken was good great coating. Almost perfect. Server was polite, professional and efficient, but only slightly out of engagement. When my husband spoke, she really did not listen and she ended his sentence and completely changed his order. Not a big deal, I looked after, or he would have received a completely different product than what he ordered. So I had to help her do her job. Apart from that, she was wonderful. The food was tasty, plentiful, well presented and cheap. I definitely go back. I ordered the spinach quiche (super yummy, almost burned, but I like it so (top crust and edges) and he ordered eggs over hashash. A little less expensive than the first watch to go our 1st place. Walleye special? comes in a very strong crust that breaks up how Koch protected the Walleye from something? I was so far from Minnesota doubtful about Walleye, it was the actual fish, even if they don't know how to cook it. The children had pasta with red sauce they liked, others with butter and cheese - that was the silica gel? Plastic? Cheese. Spouse had the burger he liked. Shakes were okay, but whipped cream was strange as if they had forgotten to add something. Total cost for lunch before tip $73. For plastic cheese, frits, burgers and extra crusty sea fish. Unbelievable as always. Love the warm cinnamon rolls they produce at the beginning. The children loved their Mac and Chicken Tenders. I tried the chicken and it was the real deal. Her ranch and BBQ are home made and delicious. The reuben was nice. Delicious and juicy.

EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious and good for the area. We enjoyed the Brezel, French toast, hash and unlimited cinnamon rolls! The outdoor seating area is covered with ventilators for wet and enclosed for rainy days.
