I visited this restaurant for the first time and found it wasn't very busy. The food was decent, but our service was terrible. We were seated and waited for 15 minutes without anyone attending to our table. Then, a male waiter named Otto approached us, seemingly unaware of our presence. He didn’t mention any specials or ask what we wanted to drink. Our appetizers took 30 minutes to arrive, and the main course followed just a few minutes later, forcing us to push the appetizers aside. For our meals, my wife ordered the Eggplant Towers of Pisa. It looked delicious! I didn’t try it, as I'm not a fan of eggplant, but she absolutely loved it! As for my order, there was a mix-up—the server misunderstood me. I had wanted rigatoni arrabbiata, but he brought me rigatoni in vodka sauce instead. He apologized and offered to (1) remove it from the bill and (2) prepare the other dish for me to take home. I told him it was fine because I actually enjoyed what he brought me! The bowl was practically empty by the end. It was fantastic, even though it lacked the spicy kick I was hoping for. That just gives me something to look forward to ordering next time! I wish I could give this place zero stars. They overbooked our reservation, and when I expressed my frustration over the phone, the unpleasant woman I spoke with talked over me the entire time and eventually canceled our reservation... then hung up on me. I can't believe someone like her is a business owner. Thank you for ruining my parents' 50th anniversary celebration, especially while my dad is battling cancer. I hope you have the day you deserve. Great Italian food in the area. This food is pretty similar to the Capri in burr ridge. It’s a shame that this family can’t get along and constantly fight with each other on whose restaurant is better. The rigatoni with vodka sauce is to die for.
