Capriccio Republique

Nothing fancy about the decor, but who cares, and in the summer they have a large veranda and a small patio that make up for this. Food is very good. Excellent thin-crust pizza (IMHO the best in western Paris), great pasta and tasty entrees (veal in particular). Nice desserts, great expresso, short but sensible wine list. Prices remain reasonable, and friendly service is included. What more could one ask for?

nothing has changed for years in this establishment which is a stationary institution. the decoration of the room is always sober. the menu always offers the same delicious Italian pizzas and dishes, served generously. reception and service always as smiling and attentive. it must be desired that it lasts as long as possible for the happiness of gourmets.

I have known the restaurant for many years now. The tenants and the cook are italian, and the food is exquisite. don't expect a fancy restaurant, but more like the family restaurant to have a excellent italian meal and not too expensive.

Professional service, excellent starters (bruschettas), pizzas (siciliana and regina) and desserts (tiramisu and coppa limoncello). The marsala was just delicious and the wine chianti also tasty. Will go back there for sure!
