Captain D's - Reservar uma mesa

I had to make a stop here at this restaurant. I've been missing Captain D's. While I can find them in Louisiana, there aren't as many in Texas. This location is right off the Porter exit on 59 north. We went through the drive-thru but decided to park and eat. Oh, how I miss this delicious food. Everything was hot, fresh, crunchy, and crispy. The food was all fresh and delicious. I remember 33 years ago in Louisiana, my sister and I would bring our kids here on Wednesday evenings for the kids eat free deal. It brought back heartwarming memories, and the food is still just as delicious. I would recommend trying them out. Today's meal gets a 10 from me.

The food at this restaurant is quite good, but what you might not be aware of is that they have the best cheese sticks and jalapeño poppers in Texas! It's no exaggeration. I challenge you to give them a try and then try to tell me you don't absolutely love them. My family has been enjoying them for years.

The two fish and six shrimp are delicious!!! The portions are huge enough that I was able to have a nice midnight snack... It takes a while to get your order through the drive-thru, but it is well worth the wait because the food ID fresh and hot!!! Customer service is excellent!!!

It has been years since my last visit, but the restaurant was just as amazing as I remembered. I highly recommend trying the family seafood feast - there was so much food that we couldn't finish it all.

Great fish and fries! Chicken strips were a little disappointing but overall good food and nice portions for the money! If you like seafood I'd stop here before long John silver's....just saying.
