As an English person and former owner of a chip shop in England, I am quite discerning when it comes to fish and chips. That being said, I selected this place as my top choice for fish and chips (and mushy peas!) in Aurora and Newmarket. The food was excellent, the restaurant was clean, and the service was good. My only small complaint is that as an English person, I prefer slices of bread and butter with my meal. A dinner roll just doesn't quite cut it for a proper chip butty!

We ordered the halibut fish and chips and the haddock fish and chips; both were really good. Batter was tasty but not greasy. We couldn't really tell the difference in taste between the haddock and halibut. The fries were really good; not greasy or heavy either. Would got there again! Overall very tasty meal at a decent price.

Without a doubt, this restaurant serves the best fish and chips in town. The portion of fish is huge and comes at an affordable price. It will definitely leave you feeling satisfied and full. I will definitely be returning here anytime.

Never knew this place was there. Good food. Decent portions. Good value. Considering there isn't much in Aurora for fish I'm glad I found this place. I would definitely go back.

The taste and price were pretty good. A family of 4 was able to eat a satisfying meal for around $50.
