I went in for a slice of cheese pizza, thought I 'd try different new pizza place, see if it 's a place I 'd like to patronise in the future. When the guy at the register said $5.74 for a slice of cheese I became really confused and at first thought I misheard or he misspoke. He seemed very annoyed that I questioned it. Then the other guy behind the counter said it cost that much because it was a quarter of a pizza as he held up with his bare hands an old dried up slice that looked like it was cut from a personal size pizza. I still did not understand. Then the guy behind the register, still annoyed by my confusion and incredulance said, so do you want it or not? I politely said no thank you...
