I found this place while wandering around Wyandotte during my break from classes; when I felt like having something to eat. I went in, smelled the amazing flavours, and right away knew that this was the place to BE. I ordered 1 beef and 1 chicken patty, and plantains! The BEST Pattie’s and plantains I’ve ever had. Beef was perfectly spicy and the chicken just was perfect in every way… The plantains: absolute perfection. Also, the restaurant was clean and staff was friendly! I can’t wait to go back and try the other dishes on the menu!!
Went to this restaurant worst food today. Asked for jerk pork when I got to my hotel open the container it was pork fat with lots of gravy. Ackee with salt fish and rice ,tasted a little had to throw out. 2 chicken soup flavor ok; but no dumplings or provision/ food in the soup. My fifty dollars wasted on my part. Pls I know GOOD JAMAICAN FOOD . I was born and breed in JA . Sorry I can 't recommend any of the above mentioned food .
I’ve never been there, I’m not even from the country, but this owner spirit, her generosity and pure happiness of doing what she loves is inspiring. I’ve seen the food pictures, and it looks absolutely amazing, I can bet the flavors are amazing as well as the hospitality. And yes, she IS the real queen of the kitchen! God bless her business 10 times more, till the she can retire safely.
Nice little spot for j and Caribbean food. I always get the same thing which is a small meal but ask for only fried dumpling and j chicken. I usually get two oversize dumplings in the serving and it fills me up and is very delicious. The owner is so delightful and from time to time will throw in a 2 plantains and always gives a warm smile. Reserve uma mesa agora
The owner's kindness is about to go viral. It's people like Barbara who immigrate to Canada who not only make thier lives better for them, but everyone around them. Thank you for representing the Caribbean population for beautifully.The food looks delicious, I'll make the trek from Toronto to Windsor JUST for this food this summer.
