Carrabba's Italian Grill

I don't understand. I really don't understand why there's always a huge waiting time here. my wife and I sat at the bar because we could sit right away. we were right in front of the pizza station. the food lasted one because it was okay, not great, not bad. our waitress was nice, but unclear. it is not a bad place to eat, but it is not a great one. I don't understand why it's so popular.

Don't bother with this place. The wait is always long and the food just mediocre. I get that it was busy but the service was terrible. Never got our salads and had to ask for refills several times before they came. Was seated next to a table of vulgar ladies who had clearly had too much to drink and when we asked to be moved the waitress redponded rudely.

will not be back. a terrible service. we sat on a dirty table in the middle of the restaurant, when other tables and stands were available. I asked the hostess if we could sit on another table, and she said no and went away dinner was not much better. the food took forever and was cold when it arrived. we will not be back.

we have always enjoyed the newport news carrabba. I think that, since the new management and rebuilding, the quality and service from a solid 4.0 to perhaps 3 3.5 manager must sharpen the training and service standards on what they were before!

beautiful place. the sirloin marsala is excellent. we enjoyed our evening very much.
