this place has been there since 1928, which says something. my wife took me here and the service and eating were very good. the server was very attentive. I had the open face truthahn sandwich on a cookie type brot very good. my wife had the rues and loved it with maisbeef. and the joy of the earth was very delightful. Don't miss it. it is amazingly served cold ingenious on a summer day.

This is my go to place for food I can't find anywhere else! Lox and cream cheese on bagel, matzoh ball soup, Rueben sandwiches the size of a football...consistently great deli food. No credit csrds are accepted so be forewarned. But the PIES...get there early before they sell out! Nice but small selection of wine and beers..

rebecca sandwich was delicious. I was a bit too heavy on the cream cheese and an additional bread in the sandwich was a little too much for me, but still delicious and fill. the earthy dessert was delicious?
