The view from the hotel terrace is indeed lovely; the service is fine, but the food is eminently forgettable, lacking both in presentation and that loving attention that alone renders a meal memorable. We had a variation of fish from the lake and the beef tagliata . Neither lived up to expectations: everything tasted more or less the same, lovelessly prepared. No detectable spices, and we are certain that the potatoes came straight out of a cheap supermarket bag of pre cooked taters. The salad bar is equally undistinguished. Won 't go back there as there are so many much better restaurants in the area that are no more expensive than this place and have a wonderful view!

This hotel has a gorgeous view of the lake but be aware that it is a bit away from the town. If you are driving, there is decent amount of parking right in front (some covered, some not) but you have to go thru long one lane roads to get to and out of the hotel, would not recommend driving if you are not a good driver. The rooms are relatively clean and well taken care of even though it looks old fashioned. The restaurant on site is pricy but does offer a beautiful view while dining. The food is mediocre and the portions are some what small so not really worth it unless you don't want to drive down to the town.
